Some say that a change feels as good as a holiday.
That’s because you are likely having a break from the mundane of the days and weeks or the go, go, go of the schedule. As a result, this break can give you relief or energy or creativity, depending on what you are changing from. You may still be carrying some of the fast-paced habits from before the change or you may not want to be doing another thing! This can look different for everyone. It may be helpful to remind yourself, that being in a phase of change or transition, may take an initial adjustment period for you to settle into the 'difference' and tweak things in such a way that it enhances your appreciation of that change period.
